Flexible Blanking Plugs

Rubber Blanking Plugs – Straight and Domed Styles

Our rubber blanking plugs come in two main styles to suit a wide range of applications:

  • Straight style – also referred to as body plugs, these are designed to create a clean, flush finish.

  • Domed style – also known as flexible blanking plugs or blanking grommets, these are ideal for sealing irregular or uneven surfaces.

Both types are made from high-quality TPR rubber, known for its durability, flexibility, and broad temperature resistance. Some domed sizes are also available in PVC. TPR versions perform reliably in temperatures from -40°C to 135°C, making them well-suited for industrial use.

Straight plugs feature a tapered base, allowing them to fit securely into a range of panel thicknesses. They offer a more flexible alternative to rigid plastic plugs and are often used for finishing purposes or internal component protection.

Domed plugs are designed to blank off holes in panels or sheet metal and work particularly well on irregular surfaces. Their domed shape ensures a reliable seal while still being easy to remove when needed. They're popular among professionals and DIY users alike for their versatility.
