Adhesive Tapes

We offer a wide range of adhesive tapes, in stock as standard in a number of widths and roll lengths. For day to day use in Homes, Schools and Offices we have Packing Tape, Masking Tape, Gaffer Tape and Barrier Tape. For more industrial settings we also supply Electrical Tape, PTFE Plumbing Tape and Self Amalgamating Tape.

What is Electrical Tape used for?

Electrical Tape, also called Insulation Tape is used to insulate and protect wires and cables. Our Electrical Insulation Tape is made from PVC to BS EN 60454-3-1 Standards and has a rubber based adhesive. Our PVC Tape is available in 9 different colours and can also be used to identify cables during installation.

How do you use PTFE Tape?

Our PTFE Tape, also known as Teflon Tape, Polytetrafluoroethylene Tape or Plumbers Tape is used to wrap around threads on pipes to prevent leaks. PTFE Tape comes in two variants: Yellow PTFE Tape for use with gas or hot water pipes and White PTFE Tape which is WRAS approved for used with potable water pipes. These tapes are commonly used in radiator valves and water taps.
