What types of hose clamps do you sell?
-
Worm Drive Clamps:
Our standard range of hose clamps are known as worm drive clamps. This is the typical product that most people imagine when you use the term hose clamp. They are constructed from metal which varies in strength and durability from the cheapest W1 (zinc plated steel) up to W5 (marine grade stainless steel). These are medium to heavy duty hose clamps and suitable for use in personal projects, as well as some industrial and commercial applications. We offer a great range of sizes from 8mm clamping hole diameter up to 110mm. -
Heavy Duty T Bolt Clamps: These are similar to worm drive clamps, but provide a higher strength upgrade, through the use of a T bolt. Like worm drive clamps, they are available in a range of metal grades from W1 to W5, but generally offer a comparatively heavy duty hose clamping solution. T bolt clamps are primarily used for demanding industrial applications in harsh environments. We offer a broad range of sizing from 17mm hole diameter up to 112mm.
-
Small Hose Clamps: A smaller scale hose clamp solution, small hose clamps resembles a worm drive clamp that has been shrunk in size. It has been designed for use in confined spaces and is available in zinc plated steel or stainless steel. This provides a medium to heavy duty solution, that offers good clamping strength, despite its small size. They are available in sizes from 7mm to 20mm.
-
Rubber Lined P Clips: These are not technically a hose clamp but share a similar use case. P clips are generally used for supporting and holding up cable bundles and hoses by bolting them against a wall or flat surface. They are rubber lined to provide cushioning and should be sufficient for non-heavy-duty applications. There is a choice between zinc plated steel and stainless steel and they are available with 3mm to 70mm hole diameters.
-
Plastic Hose Clips: These are a lightweight plastic equivalent to worm drive clamps. Though not a heavy-duty solution, they are constructed from a premium nylon 6/6 which offers enough strength to secure the majority of pipes, cable bundles and smaller hoses. Our plastic hose clips have great material properties and are resistant to corrosion, salt water degradation, weak acids, alkalis, grease and common solvents. This, coupled with a 94V-2 flammability rating and operating temperature of 0°C to 105°C makes them a good choice for industrial uses. We supply these as standard in 9mm to 54mm hole diameters.
-
Heavy Duty P Clamps: While not specifically a hose clamp, this product serves a similar use case. It is typically used as a heavy-duty solution for securing heavy bundles of cables, wires and tubing to walls and flat surfaces. Our P clamps are made from high quality UV-stabilised nylon 6/6 and a choice of either zinc plated steel or stainless steel, for maximum durability. This product is suitable for use in commercial or industrial environments.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is spiral wrap?
Spiral wrap is a flexible and expandable protective sleeve that has been cut into a spiral shape, resembling a spring. It features splits along the length of the product and this gives the ability to insert bundles of cables or wires into the spiral to be encapsulated. It is also most commonly used for cable management applications, in addition to protecting and organising hydraulic hoses. They are a generally reusable and easy to install solution.
Where can I buy spiral cable wrap?
You can buy spiral wrap from us! We are proud to supply a high quality High Density Polyethylene spiral wrap to the UK markets, and we are also able to provide international delivery. We stock spiral cable tidies suitable for cable diameters starting at 10mm - 13mm and all the way up to 116mm - 150mm.
What is spiral wrap also known as?
Spiral wrap is also known as spiral cable wrap. Its use as a cable management solution means many also refer to it as spiral cable tidy, cable tidy spiral wrap or spiral wire wrap. As the product is also often used to organise and protect hydraulic hoses, customers might call it hydraulic hose spiral wrap or spiral hose wrap.
How do you size spiral wrap?
The easiest way to find the right sizing of spiral wrap for your application is to measure the diameter of the bundle of wires, cables or hoses that you are looking to cover. You can then match this measurement to the suitable product using our "Cable Bundle Range" attribute. You should also consider the length that is needed, as our spiral wrap comes in packs of 50m, 20m or 12m depending on the thickness of the spiral wrap.
How do you use spiral cable wrap?
Applying spiral cable wrap to your cables, wires or hoses is a simple process. Begin by gathering the objects you want protected and organise them into your preferred order. Your spiral wrap may be longer than the objects getting wrapped, so you can measure their length and cut the spiral wrap down to an appropriate length. Next find a split near an end of the spiral cable wrap and apply some pressure to open it wider. You can now insert the cables, wires or hoses into the wrap. Keep threading them through until they pass through the whole length of the wrap. Now close the spiral wrap up and reposition the cables, wires or hoses if necessary, to ensure an equal distribution. Finally trim off any excess spiral wrap length.
What is spiral wrap used for?
Spiral cable wrap is most commonly used for organising, protecting and marking cables and wires in electrical systems. Good organisation of cables and wires prevents tangling of wires and clutter, improving aesthetics. Different colours of spiral wrap can also be used to identify different groups of cables or wires, and separate them from others. Finally, spiral wrap useful for protecting cabling that is used in harsh or exposed environments. Acting as a barrier around the components inside, spiral cable wrap helps to mitigate abrasions, mechanical stress, and reduce exposure to dust, moisture, chemicals and weathering.
Is spiral wrap suitable for use on hydraulic hoses?
Yes, our hydraulic hose spiral wrap is an effective solution for ensuring protection, organisation and maintenance of hydraulic systems. Spiral wrap acts as a flexible and durable shield for the hydraulic hose and helps to absorb shocks, knocks and potential damages to the hose. The spiral design of the wrap gives it great flexibility and means it will not hinder the movement of the hose during operation. Our spiral wrap has been constructed to provide strong temperature resistance, along with resistance to oils and chemicals. This gives it a strong use case for protecting hydraulic hoses in harsh industrial environments.
How do you protect hydraulic hoses from rubbing?
Another key feature of our hydraulic hose wrap is its ability to mitigate damage that can occur to hydraulic hoses from rubbing against other hoses, equipment and surfaces. During operation, hydraulic hoses will likely experience movement and vibrations, leading to them coming into contact with other objects. By encasing the hose in spiral wrap, it is possible to reduce its friction coefficient and minimise the risk of damage being done to the hose by rubbing, vibration or contact over long periods of time. This will help to extent the lifespan of the hoses and maintain the efficiency of the hydraulic system. It is particularly important for high-pressure systems where the hoses are under great pressures and stress.
