Sprung Toggle Latches

Vital Parts stocks a range of Sprung Toggle Latches which are commonly used in applications where a secure, easy-to-use fastening method is needed, such as in cases where a hinged door or lid needs to be secured. Our Sprung Toggle Latches are made of Stainless Steel and come in various designs to suit different applications. All of our Sprung Toggle Latches have a spring mechanism that allows the latch to move freely between two positions - open and closed. When the Toggle Lever is in the closed position, the hook engages with the strike plate to secure the latch. To open the latch, the Toggle Lever is pulled outward, disengaging the hook from the strike plate and allowing it to pivot back to the open position.

Our Sprung Toggle Latches can be used in a variety of applications where a secure, quick-release fastener is needed. Some common applications include:

  • Securing machine guards, access panels and other components in Industrial equipment and Transportation industries,
  • Securing Cargo doors, hatches and access panels on trucks, trailers, airplanes and marine vessels.
  • In construction, Toggle latches are used to secure Scaffolding, Shoring and other temporary structures and in the electrical industry you'll often find Toggle Latches (including Sprung Toggle Latches) being used to secure electrical enclosures.
