Red Fibre Washers

Our Red Fibre Washers are designed to be watertight and highly resistant to a range of elements such as sunlight, sea water, oil and petroleum.

Fibre is a material which is made from cellulose fibres such as cotton and then treated with heat and chemicals to increase its strength, durability and resistance. It is a highly absorbent material which expands when it is exposed to liquid; sealing any access points that are present and preventing leakages in a range of applications.

Red Fibre Washers provide a protective, anti-chafe layer which prevents metal components rubbing against one another. This prevents the risk of corrosion and damage to internal components as they absorb shocks and vibrations.
