EPDM Tapered Plugs

Our EPDM Tapered Plugs are made from a high quality EPDM Rubber which gives these plugs strong and resilient properties against factors such as acids, alkali's and heat (up to 215c). Also known as EPDM Stoppers or Bungs these are extremely popular within a number of different industries including Oil & Gas and Automotive due to their multi-purpose design and resistive properties. Each EPDM Tapered Plug is designed to fit a large range of hole sizes due to the malleable material and tapered design which allows for a tight seal when inside an application.

These EPDM Bungs are extremely popular for high temperature masking uses due to their ideal heat and acid resistance properties that they provide, making them an excellent alternative when compared to our Silicone Tapered Plugs versions. From standard these are stocked in sizes from as little as 1.6mm to over 100mm, to provide a versatile selection.
